How to Set Up Your Minecraft Server

Minecraft has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. Kids and adults everywhere are mining, crafting, and Minecrafting together in multiplayer worlds; players build social skills, improve their problem-solving abilities, and exercise their creativity when building together online. There are so many educational benefits of Minecraft it’s astounding.

First, You are going to have to choose if u wanna self-host or get a Hosting company to do it for you.

I wouldn't suggest self-hosting and I don't know how to do it but weigh your options. If you are doing self-hosting only because of the price then I would search for a cheaper option, as I know there are some out there if you are paying $2.50 or more. Step 1.

You now need to decide between PaperMC, Spigot, Or Forge. If you are planning to just have a vanilla server or maybe even modifying the game with plugins then I would suggest downloading PaperMC. For those who don't know what plugins are they are basically mods that only the server needs to download. And if you are planning on downloading mods on the server (the players will also need the mods btw) then you are going to need to install forge on your server.
